About Maria G. Gonzalez
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Seeking help is the first courageous step towards growth, change, fulfillment and healing. These days, daily life can be really difficult to manage and it can be a struggle to not lose ourselves to the anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and chaos we experience. Feeling alone, disconnected and discouraged doesn’t have to remain the status quo. There is hope in recognizing your greatness and your potential. A whole person approach to supporting your mind, body and soul is central to my therapy as is the inclusion of evidenced based practices like CBT, TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
Regardless of the difficult change, relationship, loss or rut you’re in, your limits are being tested and I’m confident that support tailored to your needs will help. When you’re ready, I will journey with you. A strong therapeutic relationship is most important so know that you’ll be received in a safe + open environment.
I enjoy working with children ages 8+, adolescents and young adults. I want my clients to learn skills to improve their lives and I specialize in trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief/loss + substance use. Learn more about me on my website. Call me for a consultation to determine if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to continue to struggle alone.
