About Noosha Niv
Psychologist, PhD
I want to provide you and your family evidence-based treatments to help reduce your symptoms, improve your quality of life, and reach your goals. Are you living a life that is not aligned with your wants and values? Are you struggling with addiction, mood, anxiety, or psychotic symptoms? Are you the family member of someone having these difficulties? Are you getting frustrated that your family conflict isn t resolving? You deserve to receive the most effective treatments available in a safe and supportive environment. We will start with a thorough assessment to identify your goals, problem areas, and treatment preferences.
I specialize in the evidence-based treatment of couples and families, addiction, mood disorders (depression and bipolar), anxiety disorders (panic, PTSD, OCD, social, phobias), and psychotic disorders (schizophrenia). I primarily practice within cognitive-behavioral and family systems frameworks and incorporate problem-solving and mindfulness-based techniques.
I have published extensively about treatment for families, addiction, psychosis, and depression. Keeping up with research is needed in my roles as a researcher, VA education director, and clinician. If you believe that our work together should be collaborative and guided by compassion, science, and your goals, please call me for a free phone consultation.
